Annotation

The aim of the course is to enable students to understand and relate socio-ecological problem constellations and processes of social change. Upon completion of their studies, they will possess practice-relevant change knowledge for a societal transformation towards sustainability.

Admission requirements

The application requirement for the Master's degree in Transformation Studies is A university degree of at least 180 ECTS credits, and a standard period of study of at least six semesters at a university, or university of applied sciences. (Note: The Bachelor's degree from a university of cooperative education is equivalent to the above-mentioned qualification if the application documents provide evidence that the course of study has been accredited at the university of cooperative education). Proof of at least 30 credit points earned in the field of Social, Humanities and / or Environmental Sciences in the higher education qualifying for admission to the course. Language skills according to the statutes on proof of foreign language skills or from a practical activity according to the study qualification statutes of the Europa-Universität Flensburg.

    International students from non-EU Member States should submit their documents early or better submit their certificates plus translations to the Admissions Office for review before the official start of application. If verification is not possible, the documents must be sent to the central office in Bonn. The examination procedure there can take several months. In order to be admitted to the selection procedure, you must have obtained the results of the test by the closing date for applications at the latest.
