Graduates of degree courses with history and related content covering at least 16 hours per week per semester or 30 ECTS.

Admission requirements

The enrolment requirement for the Master's degree course in History of Europe is a degree completed with good grades from a university covered by the German Higher Education Framework Act (HRG), with a standard period of study of at least six semesters, or a degree course recognised as equivalent by a competent state authority outside the scope of the German Higher Education Framework Act. The degree, but at least the final thesis, must have been completed with a good grade (good=2.49 or better). In addition, the applicant must demonstrate pass/fail courses and graded courses worth 30 ECTS points or 16 semester periods per week in History.
