Target group
The postgraduate Master's in Social Work is aimed at students who have successfully completed the Bachelor's in Social Work, Transdisciplinary Early Childhood Education or a programme with a comparable degree. Apart from a solid education in principles and methodology, the Master's programme focuses on the most important fields of application in terms of Social Work: working with addiction disorders, child endangerment, in rehabilitation and health promotion, as well as working with people with mental illness.

The master's degree in social work follows a bachelor's degree in social work/social pedagogy, transdisciplinary early childhood education, expressive arts in social transformation, or a comparable degree. In addition to thorough training in principles and methodology, the most important fields of application of Social Work at the centre of teaching: work with addicts, in the field of child endangerment, rehabilitation and health promotion as well as work with people with mental illnesses. In the combination of specialisations, there is a special opportunity for both students and for the current and future labour market.
