In this M.Ed. Degree course, you will study the special education subjects chosen in the Bachelor's degree in addition to the above-mentioned subject, and the special educational psychology sub-programme is compulsory. The above-mentioned subject can be chosen in the primary as well as in the secondary school. The Master of Education (M.Ed.) degree opens up a variety of career paths for you. You can further qualify for teaching qualification (subsequent traineeship), enter the (non-school) job market directly or even do a doctorate.

Applicants for the Master of Special Education must state in the online application whether they choose the primary or secondary level. Certain requirements apply for admission to the degree course Teaching Qualification for Special Needs Education leading to a Master of Education.

If verification is not possible, the documents must be sent to the central office in Bonn. The examination procedure there can take several months. In order to be admitted to the selection procedure, you must have obtained the results of the test by the closing date for applications at the latest.
