In the four-semester Master's degree, the focus is on freely chosen restoration projects. In two term papers, general topics are dealt with largely independently: They may be from the fields of conservation technique, source writing/art technique, scientific investigation, preventive conservation, etc., and prepare students for the master's thesis in the 4th semester. In addition, twelve modules can be selected from a variety of weekly courses. They cover the fields of archaeometry/material science, conservation science, art history and cultural management, and modern art.
