Admission requirements
Diplom or Bachelor's degree in Film or a comparable design course at a university or the completion of an accredited Bachelor's degree at a vocational academy with curricular proportions of Film of more than 50% and an overall grade of better than 2.0 and the degree-related artistic-creative aptitude. The artistic and creative suitability is determined by the Commission on the basis of the assessment of work samples of the applicants. The degree courses must include at least 210 credit points. Whether the prerequisites are met or not is decided by an elected commission. With 180 ECTS credit points, applicants canbe provisionally admitted if the missing 30 credit points are proven when registering for the first module examination, but at the latest within one year of the start of the degree course. The proof is provided by the completion of a practical project with a duration of 20 weeks.
