Target group

All interested candidates who see their professional future in the experience-oriented field of live communication and who want to take responsibility for the planning and design of events of all kinds, e.g. corporate events, public events, festivals, congresses or sports events – regardless of whether they are in-person, hybrid or virtual. The degree course is aimed at both specialised event managers and employees who want to work on modern communication campaigns in marketing departments of companies in all industries.

career-integrated Master's degree with e-learning and self-study sections as well as seminar phases with a strong practical component (current employment or employment contract not required) Online/hybrid seminar phases: approx. 15-20 seminar phases, usually once a month on Fridays and Saturdays during the first three semesters, Master's thesis in the fourth semester Applications are possible at any time until the maximum number of participants has been reached The career-integrated Master's degree course in Event Marketing is set up at the Chemnitz University of Technology Centre for Knowledge and Technology Transfer (ZWT).
