Annotation
The degree course is the first joint degree in German studies between a German and a Canadian university. The first and fourth semesters are studied in Mannheim, while the second and third are in Waterloo, Canada. The content is about German studies from a German and Canadian perspective in the areas of language, literature and culture. The core of the course is the intercultural element, which remains part of the life of our graduates even after graduation: After their studies, most of them work in international organisations and global companies that benefit from their intercultural experience and ability to change perspectives.
