Sufficient command of the English language is to be proven by applicants. The following proofs are accepted: TOEFL (IBT) (at least 90 points), IELTS (at least 5.5), Cambridge Test CAE, FCE (at least grade B) or certificates certifying language proficiency at level B2 GeR (e.g. higher education entrance certificate). During the course an internship of at least 6 weeks at a time is planned. Students are advised to commence studies in the winter semester.
Admission requirements
1) Bachelor of Science with a grade of at least 2.5 in Business Informatics or related / comparable degree programs, or in Business Administration with a specialisation in Business Informatics or Computer Science, or in the Computer Science degree program. 2) Applicants with a Bachelor's degree from another field of study should already have previous knowledge of Design and Implementation (programming, in particular object-oriented programming) of software systems. The scope of the achievements for the two areas in the Bachelor's degree course should total at least 30 ECTS credits. The distribution of the credits between the courses is not relevant. Also in this case, the grade of the underlying Bachelor's degree must be 2.5 or better. 3) Alternatively, a qualification equivalent to the Bachelor's degree can serve as admission requirement. Equivalence is decided by the Study and Examination Board.
