Annotation

The course 'German-language literature. Text - Culture - Media offers a further academic qualification and profile in the field of German literature. The literary, cultural studies and methodological-theoretical basic knowledge and skills imparted in a literary or cultural Bachelor's programme with Germanistic subject areas will be deepened. The aim of the course is to acquire a scientifically qualified degree that enables independent scientific research, active participation in processes of scientific communication and the application of scientific methods and knowledge in various professional fields and opens access to the doctorate.

Admission requirements

General admission requirements for the Master’s degree are proof of completion of a relevant Bachelor’s degree in the field of German Literature or Literary Studies / Cultural Studies, or proof of a comparable domestic or foreign university degree with a professional qualification. The degree according to sentence 1 must either contain a specialist component in Germanic literary studies to the extent of at least 48 credit points or at least 24 CP in literary studies and at least 24 CP in Literary or Cultural Studies.
