Annotation
Firstly, you should of course be interested in the subject of biochemistry. A solid basic knowledge of chemistry, biology, mathematics and physics is also helpful. Advanced courses in one or more subjects are therefore an advantage, but not a necessary prerequisite. Before the start of the semester, preliminary courses in chemistry, physics and mathematics are offered in order to close any gaps. Furthermore, English language skills are also important, as many textbooks and most journals are written in English.
