Minor subject in the combination Bachelor's degree course - only possible in combination with a major subject Standard period of study: 6 or 8 semesters (depending on combination) The degree depends on the major subject chosen. Further information on the structure of the combination Bachelor's degree course can be found here:https://www.uni-marburg.de/de/studium/studieninteressierte/studienmoeglichkeiten/kombibachelor Analyse developments in the Near East and Middle East by combining the methods of political science, cultural studies and economics. In the minor subject "Politics, Culture and Economics of the Near and Middle East", this interdisciplinary approach gives you a multi-perspective insight into Near and Middle East research and is the optimal complement to a large number of major subjects. The course can be combined particularly well with another minor subject of the Centre for Near and Middle Eastern Studies (CNMS), in particular one of the regional languages Arabic, Persian or Turkish, and you will be trained as an expert for the interdisciplinary analysis of the Near and Middle East. An integral part of the degree course is the MarSkills programme, in which you acquire attractive and future-oriented key skills (see https://www.uni-marburg.de/de/fb09/igs/arbeitsgruppen/sprechwissenschaft/marskills/was-ist-marskills).
