Further information on the structure of the combination Bachelor's degree course can be found here:https://www.uni-marburg.de/de/studium/studieninteressierte/studienmoeglichkeiten/kombibachelor In the minor subject sub-course "Latin Language and Culture", you will be taught basic language skills, which you can use to translate original Latin texts. The knowledge corresponds to the level of the state Latinum (Latin proficiency certificate) and enables you to analyse texts independently (for example in your major subjects). You will also learn to review authors and works of central genres and epochs of Latin literature, and you will be able to recognise reception references to ancient texts and concepts.
