You will learn a critical approach to classical and modern methods of literary text and media analysis and acquire basic knowledge of cultural theory (conceptual fields, discourses, history). The aim is to acquire initial intercultural skills and the ability to analyse culturally critical issues on the basis of exemplary topics such as populism or ethnic and cultural diversity.
