Major subject in combination Bachelor's degree course - only possible in combination with one or two minor subjects Standard period of study: 6 or 8 semesters (depending on combination) Further information on the structure of the combination Bachelor's degree course can be found here:https://www.uni-marburg.de/de/studium/studieninteressierte/studienmoeglichkeiten/kombibachelor In addition to basic scientific methods in the first three semesters, the major subject Geography in the combination Bachelor's programme teaches you scientific competences from all areas of geography and enables you to focus on human geography, physical geography or human-environmental relations. From geoinformatics, cartography, statistics and geographic field and laboratory methods, you can acquire skills that are applied in in-depth modules in the solution of problems related to the occupational field, e.g. in the context of urban planning or location analysis. A field work placement as well as a non-university vocational work placement form the bridge to practice.
