This degree course provides you with the necessary skills in practical computer science and programming to achieve competence in managing complex software projects for various industries and sectors. You will be equipped with practical fundamentals such as practical computer science, programming/programming languages, algorithms/data structures, software creation and maintenance as well as management of software projects. During the degree programme, you will strengthen your skills and experience in terms of both expertise and methodology and gain essential qualifications in software development and further development. In addition, you will also be trained in communication and language. Admission requirements
To be able to enrol in the Software Engineering (B. Eng.) degree course you need the general higher education entrance qualification, a subject-specific higher education entrance qualification or the entrance qualification for a university of applied sciences (or a comparable higher education entrance qualification according to the State University Act of Baden-Wuerttemberg). Thus, technical college degrees or HWK and IHK further training qualifications also entitle the holder in combination with a consultation on a degree course.
