Form of study / duration - Full-time / 6 semesters Therapeutic Education BA - Full-time / 9 semesters Therapeutic Education BA and Early Aid & Early Intervention B.A. Double Bachelor's degree in Therapeutic Education (BA) and Early Aid & Early Intervention (BA) at the MSB The professional work of therapeutic education has been greatly enhanced through the implementation of the legal entitlements in the course of signing the UN Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities in connection with "inclusion" in society. The free and public providers of integration assistance lack qualified personnel across the board. After successfully completing the double bachelor's degree in therapeutic education and early aid/early intervention, students have the opportunity to work in areas such as early intervention, educational assistance, child and adolescent psychiatry, schools, residential facilities or workshops for people with disabilities. In particular, due to the current development of inclusive children and youth welfare, therapeutic education specialists are needed in the public authorities. Other professional fields of application include all fields of work in disability care, child and youth care, help for the elderly, social paediatrics and psychiatry as well as other relevant areas of rehabilitation. Graduates can perform both executive and coordinating and managerial activities in the areas mentioned. Graduates of the Bachelor's degree programme in therapeutic education can receive state recognition for social professions in Berlin according to the provisions of the Social Professions Recognition Act.
