Admission requirements

Training within the administration. No direct application at the higher education institution. In addition to the general higher education entrance qualification (or subject-specific higher education entrance qualification), admission requirements also include successful participation in a selection procedure which is carried out once a year by the Bavarian Landespersonalausschuss (State Personnel Board). For information on the selection procedure, in particular as regards dates (registration generally until mid-June, written examination in October) and the process, please refer to the website: https://www.lpa.bayern.de/. Following the selection procedure, there are additional selection procedures which take place both at the institutions of the German Pension Insurance in Bavaria, as well as in certain offices within the Bavarian State Ministry of Work and Social Order, Family and Integration, e.g. at the Zentrum Bayern Familie und Soziales (Bavarian Centre for Family and Social Affairs).
