INDUSTRIAL ENGINEERSWITH A FOCUS ON CONSTRUCTION A degree that combines Civil Engineering with Economics: You will be trained as a generalist who can work in all sub-processes of "construction" as a project manager or construction manager for construction companies, construction clients, authorities and many others. You could also, however, work in construction product marketing and distribution or in research to improve digital processes or sustainability in the construction industry. What will you learn? In addition to business administration, building materials science, construction economics, structural analysis, solid and steel construction, topics such as digital construction and sustainability of the construction industry are important components of the curriculum. Presentation and communication techniques are taught, and you can gain insights into practical implementation on excursions and company visits. The following will help you during the course: - Mathematical and scientific fundamentals, - Interest in creating value in companies and in managing people and tasks, - Enjoyment in the planning, realisation and operation of construction projects, - Enjoyment in and willingness to get to know oneself better and to constantly develop oneself.
