Annotation

The Bachelor's course in Medical Education (B.A.) at the MSB Medical School Berlin is primarily aimed at teaching staff for healthcare professions, but also at future generations of teachers. Through the orientation towards the structure of teaching qualification study programmes the degree course is subsequently extendible. Upon successful completion, you will have the option to continue with a relevant Master's programme for teachers at vocational schools in the subject of Health Sciences (including therapy sciences) or Nursing. If students fulfil the relevant requirements, they may also seek to complete a PhD, providing that they successfully complete their Master's course. The aim of the course is to provide students with a basic scientific education, learn about current research topics related to medical education (e.g., in the fields of educational sciences, medical and natural sciences, education and medical management) and the ability to critically assess them. In addition, competencies in the areas of educational psychology, medical ethics, interdisciplinary team development and management as well as research methods are taught.
