Special features regarding teaching in the bachelor's degree programme
In the degree course, individual students are intensively supervised by the teachers. The individual topics and healthcare areas taught in a flexible manner that takes into account students are taking the course on a career-integrated basis. In-person courses are supplemented by video teaching and self-learning units.
Special features regarding the international orientation
Courses in English, faculty-related and comprehensive; FK13 Elective subjects in languages, intercultural competence, specialised English relating to medicine and nursing.
Special features regarding the equipment
Skills lab (nursing laboratory), Media lab, simulation equipment, use of laboratories in other faculties to work on interdisciplinary projects, e.g. Mechatronics/Design. Students have access to the CINAHL database for nursing and allied health literature.
